University of Florida students and alumni will line up outside the O’Connell Center Tuesday and Wednesday, hoping to gain advantages in their job searches.

UF’s Career Resource Center will hold its biannual Career Showcase to help Gators find internships and jobs in their fields.

The showcase is split into two days based on fields of interest: non-technical applicants can interview Tuesday, and applicants in engineering, biology and computer science fields can interview Wednesday.

The showcase is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Students can use their Gator CareerLink login info to RSVP for the event, view participating organizations and express interest in them. About 7,400 applicants lined up at the fall 2012 showcase in October to interview with 316 employers.
