Five questions with South Carolina junior guard Bruce Ellington
Q: What did you take more satisfaction from, scoring two TDs as a wide receiver to beat Clemson or scoring 23 points to beat Florida at the O'Connell Center (two years ago)?
A: (Chuckles) I'm just happy to be able to come out here and play both sports and win.
Q: How do you keep your body from wearing down during the course of the season playing both football and basketball?
A: Just get in the ice tub, get massages and stuff like that. You've got to eat the right food. Don't eat fast food all the time. You can eat it every now and then, but not all the time.
Q: Where do you see your future, football or basketball?
A: I don't know right now. I'm just playing. Hopefully God can bless me to go to the next level, whichever one it is.
Q: What's it like playing for Frank Martin?
A: It's great. There's a lot of intensity, and I'm just happy to have him as a coach. He's very smart and he knows the game really well. Having him as a coach, it helps everyone around you.
Q: Biggest difference in the South Carolina basketball team this season as opposed to last season?
A: I don't think there's much of a difference, just different coaches. All the guys are still out here playing hard and coming to practice ready to play, and they are trying to get a win.
