Class 5A, Region 1
Who: Port Orange Spruce Creek (17-5) at Buchholz (15-1-4)
Where: Jonesville Complex
What's next: Buchholz would host Jacksonville Mandarin or play at Flagler Palm Coast in Saturday's regional semifinals; Spruce Creek would travel to either Mandarin or Palm Coast.
Free kick: Buchholz won its first district title since 2001. This is Buchholz's third straight regional quarterfinal and a rematch of last year's in Port Orange, which the Bobcats won 4-3. The Hawks, state finalists in 2011 and 2008, are in their fourth straight regional quarterfinal and eighth in the last 11 years.
Class 3A, Region 2
Who: Leesburg (11-7-3) at Eastside (20-2-2)
Where: Citizens Field
What's next: Eastside would host Belleview or travel to Inverness Citrus in Saturday's regional semifinals; Leesburg would travel to either Citrus or Belleview.
Free kick: Eastside captured its fourth district title in five years and is in its fifth straight state playoff. The Rams, who reached the regional finals a year ago, are looking for their second straight regional semifinal. Leesburg, which is in its second straight playoff, hasn't advanced to the regional semifinals since 2005.
Class 2A, Region 2
Who: Pierson Taylor (12-6-2) at Santa Fe (16-3-3)
What's next: Santa Fe would host Keystone Heights or travel to Crescent City in Saturday's regional semifinals; Pierson Taylor would travel to either Crescent City or Keystone Heights.
Free kick: A rematch of last year's regional quarterfinal, which Pierson Taylor won 4-1. The host Raiders are in their eighth regional quarterfinal in 11 years, but have not advanced past the first round since 2003. The visiting Wildcats have reached the regional semifinals every year since 2007.
Who: Keystone Heights (18-4-2) at Crescent City (17-5-1)
What's next: Keystone Heights would host Pierson Taylor or travel to Santa Fe in Saturday's regional semifinals; Crescent City would host Santa Fe or Pierson Taylor.
Free kick: The host Indians are making their 10th state playoff appearance in the last 11 years and first since 2011. Keystone Heights hasn't advanced beyond the first round since 2008. The host Raiders are making their fourth straight playoff appearance and last year reached the regional semifinals for the first time.
Class 1A, Region 2
Who: Eastpoint Franklin County (8-5-1) at Lafayette (14-5)
What's next: Lafayette would host Port St. Joe or Tallahassee Maclay in Saturday's regional semifinals; Franklin County would host Maclay or travel to Port St. Joe.
Free kick: The host Hornets are making their fourth straight state playoff appearance and are looking for their second straight regional semifinal berth. The visiting Seahawks are making their second straight playoff appearance.
