UF men's basketball up to No. 8

Florida moved up two spots to No. 8 this week in the AP men's college basketball Top 25 poll Monday.

The Gators (14-2, 4-0 SEC), coming off an 83-52 win over Missouri, also moved up to No. 7 ESPN/USA Today Top 25 coaches poll.

Florida next plays Wednesday night at Georgia (7-10, 1-3) for an 8 p.m. tipoff.

Florida coach Billy Donovan said in his news conference that junior forward Casey Prather (high ankle sprain) will be out at least another week. Prather suffered the sprain late in the first half on Jan. 12 against LSU.
