Five questions with Texas A&M senior guard Elston Turner.

Q: What was it like to score 40 points at Rupp Arena against Kentucky?

A: I still can't believe it happened. It's an amazing feeling. Especially when you consider we got the win.

Q: What was your first reaction when you found out Texas A&M was moving to the SEC?

A: Excited. It was a great move for us. For us to get to play against teams like Kentucky, like Florida, those are the games that you get excited about and look forward to playing.

Q: Was there an adjustment period with Billy Kennedy taking over the team last season and, if so, how much more smoothly are things going in his second season?

A: We definitely had to make some adjustments. Coach Kennedy just told us to keep believing, and we're starting to believe now. We think we can do some good things.

Q: What can opposing SEC teams expect going to your homecourt, Reed Arena, for the first time?

A: It's going to be tough. We have a lot of support. Our students get loud. We're a defensive team and at home with the crowd on our side, our goal is just to lock teams down and make it hard for them to get good shots.

Q: What are your goals for your senior season?

A: Just to keep winning. We feel like we're heading in the right direction. You have to keep working hard to make it happen. We feel like we're just beginning to hit our stride.
