What's open, what's closed for M.L. King Day

Residential curbside collection for solid waste, recycling and yard trash will be delayed by one day for the entire week beginning Monday. The regular schedule for these services will resume on Jan. 28.

The five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers, the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and Transfer Station will be closed Monday.

The Office of Waste Collection and the Household Hazardous Waste Center will be closed Monday.

Alachua County Public Schools will be closed Monday. Classes will resume on Tuesday.

The University of Florida and Santa Fe College will be closed Monday. Classes will resume on Tuesday.

Banks and credit unions will be closed Monday.

U.S. Postal Service offices will be closed Monday.

The Alachua County Tax Collector's Office will be closed Monday.

The Alachua County Courthouse's administrative offices will be closed Monday.

City administrative offices will be closed on Monday.

County administrative offices will be closed on Monday.

All libraries will be closed Monday. All book drops and online services, however, will be available. All 12 locations and the bookmobiles will resume their regular schedules on Tuesday

There will be no RTS bus service on Monday, and all RTS offices will be closed. Also, there will be no ADA Paratransit service on this date, including dialysis appointments. Regular RTS spring service will resume on Tuesday.
