A prescribed burn underway in the Micanopy area is being monitored by the Florida Highway Patrol this morning for potential fog and smoke, FHP reported in a press release.
The burn is in the vicinity of U.S. 441 and Alachua County Road 234. FHP is monitoring those roads along with Interstate 75 in the vicinity.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area. If smoke or fog is present, low-beam headlights should be used.
