North Central Baptist Church, 8001 NW 23rd Ave., dedicates its new educational building Sunday during its worship service at 9:30 a.m.
The new building is the culmination of a two-year project in which the members evaluated the current campus needs and the growth of the church.
“It is a miracle what the Lord has done here at North Central,” said the Rev. Calvin Carr, pastor of the church since October 2007, in a written statement. “Our people have raised the funds to build this building and have reached the people to fill it up.”
The building was constructed by the Flanagan Companies Inc., and includes 16 rooms.
“This building will help us reach families, youth, college students, internationals, and gives us the added space we need to continue to grow,” Carr said. “We are expecting to provide new Bible study times as well as new worship times as a result of our people’s faithful vision for reaching this city for Christ.”
