A freight train hauling 52 cars plowed into a van that was stalled on the tracks in Hawthorne early Wednesday morning, according to a report.

No one was inside the 2003 Chevrolet van, which the Florida Highway Patrol report said was disabled on the tracks at Southeast 221st Street near Southeast 71st Avenue.

The CSX train crashed into the vehicle at 3:45 a.m. There were no injuries reported, and the train was not damaged.

The road was closed for about an hour and a half, the FHP reported.
