Florida will have one less commit in Friday's Under Armour All-American Game.
Crescent City defensive tackle Caleb Brantley decommitted from UF on Wednesday. He announced his decision via Twitter and later confirmed it with The Sun.
The ESPN150 member has been in Kissimmee since Sunday for the Under Armour practices. After spending the week around several uncommitted prospects who are taking official visits this month, Brantley decided to open up his recruitment so he can have a similar experience.
The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder will try and make trips to Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Southern Cal. Prior to his UF pledge on Jan. 28, those four schools were among his favorites. The Gators have not been eliminated and may still land him in the end.
Florida now has 24 commits in its 2013 class. Verbal commitments are not binding until prospects sign their national letters of intent on Feb. 6.
