To Quoth ‘The Raven’

The tales and poems of Edgar Allan Poe will fill the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre on Saturday and Sunday in “An Edgar Allan Poe-etry Jam,” a stage reading of such Poe classics as “The Raven,” “The Tell Tale Heart” and “The Maque of the Red Death.”

Actors Jerry Rose and Karelisa Hartigan will read those and other spirited works by the master of suspense starting at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The 80-minute performances are part of the Acrosstown’s “dark night” series of special events between the theater’s main stage productions.
