DAYTONA BEACH — Authorities say dense fog has caused a series of crashes that have shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in central Florida.
No major injuries have been reported.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, crashes were reported Monday morning in both southbound and northbound lanes of I-95 in Volusia County. All northbound lanes are blocked and there are major delays.
There is dense fog in the area. Troopers tell the Orlando Sentinel that there also is reduced visibility on other highways across Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard counties.
