What about the rest of Gainesville's schools?

I live west of 13th Street, so each week I go out of my way to find the Gainesville Guardian.
I enjoy reading it, but I'm puzzled as to why the Guardian prints news about Eastside High School and not other high schools in the city. Gainesville High School's football team has made it to the regionals, and yet nothing is noted in the Guardian.
I know the paper is primarily for east Gainesville, but the Florida Gators are listed, and their school is in the west. There are siblings and friends who attend different schools in the city and would love to see their names in print.
Church news is printed from churches all over the county, so why not the schools? This would be an incentive for the kids to do well.
We are a community and it really "takes a village to raise a child."
