A man was shot in the leg in a home invasion robbery just before midnight Tuesday that may have been drug-related, Gainesville police Officer Ben Tobias said.

The incident occurred in the 4300 block of Northwest 35th Terrace when two men knocked in the front door and one of them shot the 30-year-old victim in the right thigh, Tobias said. The injury was not life-threatening.

Tobias said the culprits drove away in a tan car. No other descriptions were given. Tobias said investigators believe the incident was likely drug-related.
