Police have no suspects and are continuing to investigate after eight vehicles were reported burglarized last week at the Rountree-Moore Ford car dealership in Lake City.

The fender shop manager of the dealership called police at 10:11 a.m. Thursday to report the thefts at 2588 US 90 W. The stereos inside the vehicles had been removed.

The Lake City Police Department says it believes the culprit or culprits parked at a nearby business and cut a hole in the chain link fence to gain entry to the dealership property.

The eight vehicles were privately owned and left at the body and fender shop for repairs. The vehicle owners have been notified of the burglary. No other items have been reported as stolen by the owners.

To report information concerning the incident or potential suspects, call investigator Mitchell Cline at 386-752-4344 or call the Lake City Police Department anonymously at 386-719 - 2068.
