Christmas celebration

Bartley Temple United Methodist Church will host its 2nd annual Christmas celebration.

It will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Paramount Plaza Hotel & Conference Center at 2900 SW 13th St.

Tickets are $30 for ages 18 and older, $12.50 for ages 10-17 and $6.25 for ages 6-9. It will be formal/semiformal, and will feature dancing, liturgical dancing, door prizes, a fashion show, food and other activities.

Fashion

The Women's Ministry at DaySpring Baptist Church will host a "Gospel Fashion Walk."

It will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church at 1945 NE 8th Ave.

It will feature fashion, fellowship and fun.

Conference

New Horizon Outreach Ministries will host a Men's Conference.

It will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 11-15 at the church at 127 NE 15th St.

The speakers will be: Dec. 11, Pastor Donnie James of Greater New Salem Baptist Church in the Arredondo community; Dec. 12, Pastor Darwin Days of New Abundant Life Outreach Ministries in Gainesville; Dec. 13, Pastor Johnny Mitchell of Bondage Breaking Ministries in Gainesville; Dec. 14, Elder Audrč J. Washington of New Life Deliverance Ministries in Winter Haven and Dec. 15, the Rev. Dr. Willie Caison of New Macedonia Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Pre-Christmas musical

Victory Temple Ministries will host a free Pre-Christmas Musical.

It will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the church at 908 SE Williston Road.

The special guests will be gospel singer RaShard Lee, formerly a player with the Oakland Raiders in the NFL, and Apostle Charles Lee & The Southern Sons of Brunswick, Ga.

Miracle Word of Faith Ministries Inc. will host a clothing, food and toy giveaway.

It will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 15 at the church at 3809-A E. University Ave.

Cantata

PASSAGE Family Church will present its annual Christmas Cantata.

It will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 19 at the church at 2020 NE 15th St. The theme will be "Singing and Dancing Before the King."

It will feature praise dancing, music and storytelling.

Anniversary

Showers of Blessings Harvest Center will celebrate its 16th anniversary.

Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. through Friday, and 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday at the church at 2615 NE 15th St. The theme will be "Let the Glory Fill the House."

Praise, worship

Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church will present "Rekindling The Passion! 2," an evening of praise and worship featuring the church's male chorus and praise team.

Benefit

The Williams Brothers will highlight a benefit for the Bishop Walter Camps Sr. Scholarship Fund.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Ignite Life Center at 404 NW 14th Ave.

Tickets are $10, and $20 for VIP admission. There will also be performances by the Camps Crusade Reunion Choir, and testimonials from people about how the late Camps impacted their lives, Camps was founder of Holy Temple of God Inc. and former pastor of Landmark Holy Temple of God in northeast Gainesville.

Anniversary

Transformation Bible Vision Ministries will celebrate its 6th anniversary this weekend with services at various sites.
