Gainesville Regional Airport's Operations Department recently received an Airport Safety Mark of Distinction from the Federal Aviation Airports Division, Southern Region, for its work done in advancement of airport safety and for its development of an integrated and involved department.

Charles Perry Partners Inc. recently received two Associated Builders and Contractors Eagle Awards for excellence in construction. The company was recognized for its work on the Florida Innovation Hub at UF and Lake Minneola High School in Minneola. The company also received an Award of Merit for the Harn Museum of Art's David A. Cofrin Asian Art Wing at UF.

Bosshardt Realty Services LLC announced that Carol Kline recently joined its sales team. Kline, who has 27 years of real estate experience, was previously a member of the Western Maine Board of Realtors, where she was named Realtor of the Year in 2010.

Arlene Stewart, owner of AZS Consulting and a nationally recognized energy code advocate, was named the Florida Home Builders Association's 2012 Associate Member of the Year. Stewart, a member of the Builder's Association of North Central Florida, recently earned Life Director status on the FHBA Board of Directors for having served more than seven years. She has chaired the FHBA Green Building Council and the Bylaws/Resolutions Committee.

Exactech, in partnership with Walk Strong Foundation, recently donated its Optetrak total knee implants — made by employees in Gainesville — to a group of 12 underprivileged patients at the Regional Specialty Hospital of Veracruz in Mexico. This was the third of 20 planned trips to the hospital over a 10-year period.

SunState Federal Credit Union recently announced that Tracy Cowart, previously the branch manager of SunState's Chiefland branch, will now serve as the new branch manager for its 43rd Street branch. The credit union also announced that Deborah Miller, previously the branch manager of SunState's 43rd Street branch, will now serve as the new branch manager of its Archer Road branch.
