Today kicks off what promises to be a sunny, balmy weekend with daytime temperatures climbing into the mid and upper 70s with no chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Morning fog can be expected but the only other hazardous conditions -- for anyone going to the Atlantic beaches for fun or fishing -- are increased winds and seas in coastal areas and a moderate risk of rip currents.
The next chance of rain comes Wednesday, and even then it is just a 20 percent chance.
