A 20-year-old Gainesville resident was arrested Saturday morning and accused of stealing 12 bottles of wine from a Dollar General store, police said.

A man later identified as Levon De Air Wright, of 1101 SE 15th St., was captured on a security camera Friday night using a brick to smash the front glass door of the business at 2400 SE Hawthorne Road, according to the GPD.

Wright stole 12 bottles of Barefoot brand wine, valued at $83.40, and left the scene before police arrived, the report said.

Police arrested Wright at Tiger Bay Apartments around 6:45 a.m. Saturday on a charge of unarmed burglary to an unoccupied structure.
