Capital City Bank announced that Alex Milton received the title of vice president in its Commercial Banking Division. Milton, who has 10 years of industry experience, is a member of the Business Association of North Central Florida and the Chamber of Commerce, and he volunteers with the Rotary Club. Prior to joining Capital City Bank as a business banker in 2010, Milton spent seven years with BB&T in Georgia.

Dave Ferro recently established Ferro Commercial Realty LLC, a licensed real estate brokerage specializing in the sale, leasing and management of commercial real estate in the Gainesville and Alachua County market. Ferro will serve as a broker and managing member of the company.

Previously, Ferro worked as a Realtor with Bosshardt Realty, and he is currently on the Board of Directors for the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors, serving as the 2013 chairperson for the organization.

Beau Beery, of Coldwell Banker M.M. Parrish Realtors, was recently selected as one of Real Estate Forum's "Forty Under 40." The CEO of Coldwell Banker Commercial Worldwide selected Beery to represent the corporation in this year's search of the top real estate professionals in the U.S. who are under 40 years of age.

The Gainesville Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association announced that Devon Chestnut, a public affairs specialist at Cox Communications in Gainesville, successfully completed the examination for accreditation in public relations, which entitles her to use the APR professional designation.

The Diversified Projects Division of Charles Perry Partners Inc. was awarded a continuing construction management services contract by the Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency for projects under $2 million. The large Florida-based general contracting, construction management and design-building company, through this division, also performs continuing contracts for the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, the School Board of Alachua County, the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.
