Thanksgiving week looking cool and dry

Thanksgiving week will bring mild days and cool nights with no rain in sight for Gainesville and Ocala areas.

Temperatures will be cool throughout the week with no threat of freezing, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday and Tuesday will be partly sunny in Gainesville with highs in the lower 70s and lows in the upper 40s. Low temperatures will drop slightly to 45 degrees Wednesday night.

Ocala weather will be similarly sunny and slightly warmer, with low temperatures in the low 50s on Monday and Tuesday.

Sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid 70s are expected for Thanksgiving Day. Lows will reach the mid 40s on Thursday night in Gainesville and the upper 40s in Ocala. Clear skies, sunny weather and mild temperatures are expected to continue into the weekend in both Gainesville and Ocala areas.

Light winds will blow through the region and humidity will be low throughout the week.
