23 ejected from Gator football game

Police ejected 23 people from Saturday's University of Florida football game against Jacksonville State for a variety of offenses, according to a University of Florida Police Department press release.

No arrests were made, but 10 civil citations were issued for possession of alcohol in the stadium. Of the 23 people ejected, eight were UF students, the release states.

Ejections per offense were: alcohol possession, 10; intoxication, two; standing on seat, two; disorderly conduct, three; ticket switching, three; being in the wrong section, two; and smoking, one.
