Rain and cooler weather with possible thunderstorms

Rain with possible thundershowers will sweep through the region as a cooler weather makes its way into Florida, according to the National Weather Service.
The chance of rain is pegged at 50 percent today with showers continuing into the evening. Temperatures will cool off tonight.
National Weather Service forecast for Gainesville
Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Thursday night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 9 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 50. North wind around 7 mph.
Friday: Cloudy, with a high near 71. Northeast wind 7 to 9 mph.
Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. North wind around 7 mph.
Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 70.
Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 45.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 69.
Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
