Today will be a lot like Tuesday, with clouds, scattered showers and a high temperature in the mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service.
Just a 20 percent chance of rain is forecast, but the sun is expected to make only spotty appearances after morning fog burns off.

National Weather Service forecast for Gainesville:
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers after 8 a.m. Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Northeast wind 8 to 10 mph.
Wednesday night: A slight chance of showers before 10 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., then a slight chance of showers after 4 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Northeast wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. Northeast wind 6 to 10 mph.
Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. North wind 5 to 7 mph.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71.
Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.
Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 70.
