It hasn't really felt like a Gator game week for The Picks

It has been a strange week. Now that Florida's SEC schedule is finished and the election is over, don't you feel kind of lost?
It hasn't seemed like a game week for Florida. I know, it's Homecoming, but when you've lived in Gainesville since 1987, Growl and the parade and everything else kind of get old.
Luckily, we have college football news to keep me amused.
Item: The state of Colorado passes a law that makes it legal to possess marijuana.
Oh, snap. The Buffaloes have been irrelevant in football for so long, but this could be a huge recruiting boost. “Here's the weight room and here's the study hall and here's your personal bong.”
Item: A Southern Cal manager is fired for taking the air out of game balls during the Oregon game.
He just wanted to see what the Trojans' season felt like. Hey, bro, you get paid to inflate Lane Kiffin's ego, not deflate balls.
Item: Cal linebacker Chris McCain says he doesn't “see us giving up 42 points to (Oregon).”
In a half? No, man, you won't see it, because the Ducks are that fast.
Item: Bobby Petrino's dad says the former Arkansas coach would be interested in the Kentucky job.
In related news, my dad says I'd be interested in becoming the commissioner of college football.
Item: Kentucky's announced crowd of 44,902 last week for Vandy was actually 18,885 if you only counted fans who were actually there.
Imagine how bad it would have been if Commodore fans didn't show.
OK, enough fun. Let's get down to business. I could have been perfect last week if not for that little voice in my head that picked Kansas State to lose. Still, 76-24 for the season is pretty stout.
Louisiana-Lafayette at Florida: Is this the week we see some offense from the Gators? Florida, 34-17.
Texas A&M at Alabama: Love Johnny Football, but against the two best defenses he's played, he has struggled. Alabama, 24-16.
Georgia at Auburn: Now Mark Richt needs hip surgery? Must be an SEC epidemic. Georgia, 44-0.
Arkansas at South Carolina: Steve Spurrier will finally beat the Razorbacks, and it won't matter. South Carolina, 34-21.
Mississippi State at LSU: Did you see where Bobby Hebert was kicked out of the press box for cheering and disturbing sports writers? How I wish I was there to see that. LSU, 21-17.
Oregon State at Stanford: Always take Beavers over a tree. Oregon State, 21-14.
Northwestern at Michigan: Big game in the Legends, er, Leaders, er, Legends. Whatever. Michigan, 34-31.
Missouri at Tennessee: Last week, Missouri scored seven points. This week, the Tigers will be disappointed with any drive that doesn't end in seven. Tennessee, 54-52.
Vanderbilt at Ole Miss: Winner may get a week in Birmingham. Oh joy. Ole Miss, 23-21.
Kansas State at TCU: Is this the week that the Wildcats get bounced out of BCS relevance? So much depends on the health of Collin Klein. Kansas State, 34-24.
