A perfect day for the University of Florida's homecoming festivities is in store with plenty of sun and warming temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
After a potentially frosty morning in some areas, a high of 72 degrees is forecast -- making for comfortable temperatures for the Gator Gallop run and the parade. The setting will be cool for tonight's Gator Growl with temperatures dropping as the sun goes down and eventually bottoming out at 40 degrees. The warming trend will continue through the weekend, including a Veteran's Day high of 82 degrees.
