Moms are talking about their utility bills.

Hi GainesvilleMom!

I hope you are enjoying the beautiful Fall weather! Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and moms are sharing their travel tips. Are you planning to travel out of town or are you hosting?

With the change in weather, moms are also talking about their utility bills. According to an article in The Sun, GRU rates are quite high compared to other companies in the state. How do your bills typically look? How do your bills compare to those you may have received when you lived in a different area?

In just a few weeks, the ice skating rink will open in downtown Gainesville after a five-year break. Will you be taking your family ice skating? Check out the prices on the forum.

Last but not least, a 19-year-old was recently beaten and padlocked to her bed after she was caught talking to a boy, something that is against her family’s beliefs. Those involved in the ordeal received two years probation. Do you think probation was punishment enough?

Have a great weekend! Enjoy Gator Growl!
