"It features Christian music and lots of comedy,' said McLeod, adding that the play tells the story of what happens when Ma Bertha, played by La'Tanya Vanhemersveld, gets revenge on her evil son-in-law Mike, played by Steve Petit.

"The play tells the story of payback," said McLeod, "and how when we send prayers and praises up, God sends blessings down."

Other cast members include Tradina Thomas as Mike's wife, Diane; Bernard Long as David, a nurse in a mental hospital; Sheila Bryant as the nosey neighbor, Vera, and Barbara Walker-Jones as Denise, Mike's mistress. McLeod plays Benny, Mike's partner in crime. McLeod said the play's message is that obedience and prayer are the key to solving issues and problems.

"When people do you evil, you should not seek revenge but pray for guidance " McLeod said. "God will fight the battles for us. When people take matters into their hands, oftentimes, it brings more problems for themselves."
