Gators move up to No. 7

The Florida Gators moved up a spot in the latest Associated Press college football rankings to No. 7.

Florida, which beat Missouri 14-7 on Saturday to improve to 8-1, is also No. 7 in the USA Today coaches' rankings.

The Gators host Louisiana-Lafayette (5-3) at 12:21 p.m. Saturday. The game will be televised by the SEC Network (WOGX -Fox) in Gainesville.

Alabama (9-0), Oregon (9-0), Kansas State (9-0) and Notre Dame (9-0) are the top four teams in the AP poll. Georgia (8-1) and Ohio State (10-0) share the No. 5 spot. UF, Florida State (8-1), LSU (7-2) and Clemson (8-1) round out the top 10.

Week No. 3 of the BCS standings will be released at 8:30 tonight on ESPN.
