Invivo Diagnostics lays off 4 employees

Invivo Diagnostic Imaging last week laid off four of about 400 Gainesville employees as part of parent company Royal Philips Electronics’ cost-cutting plan, spokeswoman Amy Shanler said.
The Netherlands-based Royal Philips plans to lay off 6,700 employees worldwide out of about 121,000 over several years as part of efforts to cut costs by 1.1 billion euro, or about $1.4 billion.
Invivo develops and manufactures components for MRI devices.
