A look at some interesting numbers in the SEC heading into college football's Week 9

6: The number of losses in seven games for Auburn, which is the worst start for any team that is two years removed from finishing first in The AP rankings, which began in 1936.

183: The total yards of offense for Florida last week against S. Carolina despite scoring 44 points. UF is the first team this century to score at least 40 points with fewer than 200 yards.

1977: The last year that Kentucky had a winning conference record. UK is 0-5 this season and hasn’t finished better than .500 in conference play since posting a 6-0 SEC record in 1977.
