First half: Florida made its performance last year against FSU look dynamic. The Gators' only real drive ended in a fumble.
Second half: It wasn't flashy, but the Gators did just what Will Muschamp wanted them to do in the second half — pound it and pound it some more.
For the game: Florida was going up against one of the nation's best defenses so it wasn't surprising they struggled at times.
First half: The Gators stuffed the run and came up with what appeared to be a big turnover. The stop at the end of the half gave them a chance.
Second half: The best defense on the field in the second half belonged to the team wearing orange and blue.
For the game: LSU isn't anything great on offense as we've seen, but that was still an elite performance by the Gators.
Special teams B+
First half: Kyle Christy continues to be a weapon, but the absence of any kind of return game continues to be a big mystery.
Second half: Christy was big again as was kickoff coverage on the one that was returned.
For the game: Christy could make an argument for the MVP of the game.
Signature win in a statement game for these Gators. There is still work to do, but that was an important win for Will Muschamp and the program.
