The SEC games worth keeping an eye on this week
LSU and UF are both undefeated, but these teams feel very different about their wins up to this point. The No. 4 Tigers struggled against Auburn and Towson of the FCS the last two weeks as LSU committed five turnovers and 19 penalties. Meanwhile, the No. 10 Gators have gained confidence from two road wins. Still, UF's success will be based on how it fares in the trenches against LSU.
Texas A&M redshirt freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel is coming off the best statistical game of any offensive player in SEC history, and the Aggies are tied for first in the league in scoring (48.2). However, Ole Miss' offense hasn't been bad either outside of its struggles against Bama.
The last time ESPN GameDay was in Columbia, South Carolina pulled off a huge 35-21 upset of No. 1 Alabama in 2010, the program's only win over a top-ranked team. There's a chance the winner of No. 5 Georgia at No. 6 S. Carolina could be decided by two of the better defenders in the country: S. Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney and Georgia LB Jarvis Jones.
