The 4th annual Men's Health and Manpower Expo was held last Saturday to once again educate the community — especially black and Hispanic men 40 and older — about ways to eliminate the disproportionately high rate at which minority men in Alachua County succumb to various cancer diseases. However, help does not stop with the expo. Resources include the UF&Shands Cancer Center website at www.cancer.ufl.edu, UF College of Medicine Mobile Outreach Clinic, UF HealthStreet, and the “WORD on Prostate Cancer” video on YouTube.
