Rainy morning and warm afternoon expected

More of the same -- but slightly cooler -- is the forecast for the day with a chance of rain and continued warm temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
A 40 percent chance of rain -- mostly in the morning -- is expected along with a high temperature of 85 degrees. Tonight is expected to be in the upper 60s -- a break from the low 70s of recent evenings.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 9 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. South wind 7 to 11 mph.
Tuesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Wednesday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Wednesday night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Light east wind.
Thursday A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Thursday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87.
