OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. — Florida men’s golf recorded a 286 (+6) on the final day of competition to propel them to a second-place finish in the final round of the Olympia Fields/Illini Invitational.

As a team, UF shot the lowest score of any team in the final round. Sparked by the low round, the team moved up four spots on the leaderboard to finish 13 strokes behind first-place Arkansas. Florida finished the three-day tournament in 867 strokes (+27).

WOMEN’S TENNIS: At Pacific Palisades, Calif., Florida freshman Danielle Collins and junior Sofie Oyen both won two rounds in the qualifying draw of the 2012 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships that began Tuesday at the Riviera Tennis Club.
