A Gainesville woman who had gone missing earlier this week has been located and is safe, according to Gainesville police.
GPD spokesman Ben Tobias said on Thursday that Rhonda Swift, 46, was at North Florida Regional Medical Center and one of her daughters was with her.
Tobias said that Swift is OK, although the daughter said her mom has no recollection of events that occurred beyond Tuesday.
Police said Swift was last seen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, so on Wednesday Gainesville police released a flier for officers to be on the lookout for Swift and her car, a 2010 Blue Hyundai Elantra. Family said Swift, who had moved to Gainesville from Iowa, left from her address near State Road 121 and U.S. 441.
