Gators up to No. 11 in AP poll

Florida keeps moving up in the college football rankings.

The Gators (4-0) moved up three spots in the latest Associated Press poll released Sunday, from No. 14 to No. 11. In the USA Today Top 25 Coaches' Poll, UF moved from No. 14 to No. 12.




"I'm excited by where we are, but let's be realistic, we have a lot of improvements to do with our football team in all three phases," UF coach Will Muschamp said on is Sunday television show. "The great thing is our guys have worked. Our guys understand what it takes to be successful. They realize we have some work to do."

Florida's next opponent on Oct. 6 at The Swamp, LSU (4-0), fell a spot to No. 3. Kickoff and television network for that game will be determined as early as Monday.

Alabama remains No. 1 in the AP poll, Oregon moved up to No. 2, Florida State is No. 4 and Georgia is No. 5. South Carolina is No. 6, giving the SEC four of the top six ranked teams.
