About Mike & Melissa Akey

Occupation: Restaurants & Entertainment

Years in Gainesville: 20

In September 2008, Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza was established in Hunter’s Crossing, and in June 2011, a second Piesanos was opened on Tower Road, officially making it a Gainesville-born franchise. The Akeys, along with their partners, employ over 200 people in the Gainesville community. Mike and Melissa dedicate most of their time working. Any spare time is spent mainly with there two young boys, close friends and family.

From the word “paisanos”, meaning compatriot or buddy, Piesanos is more than just good pizza. It is a great place to get together with friends and family. Please vote for Mike and Melissa Akey as they are truly an integral part of the Gainesville Community.
