Dooley grades: Hmmm, average

First half: After a rotten first quarter, the offense looked much better in the second quarter, especially the running of Mike Gillislee.
Second half: Jeff Driskel was give the whole second half and did some good things and some not so good.
For the game: Florida struggled to convert short yardage plays, but Will Muschamp attributed some of that to his stubbornness to run the ball.
First half: The defense had three possessions where it allowed only six yards and no first downs. But Bowling Green had the Gators off balance early.
Second half: The Falcons are a tough team to play because of their quick passing game, but Florida did a decent job.
For the game: It was hardly the kind of dominating performance everyone expected from this defense, but the one big play was the difference.
Special teams C-
First half: Not much was going well until Andre Debose returned a punt 32 yards to the Bowling Green 46. Gators also forced a short punt later in the half.
Second half: Another big return, this one on a kickoff, helped as did the caused fumble on the punt return. But the fake punt? Yikes.
For the game: The special teams had their good moments, but there were enough bad ones to give them plenty to work on.
It could have been worse, but it had better be better over the next couple of weeks or this could be a rough season.
