About Alexandra Mueller

Occupation: Student Eastside High School IB Program Senior

Years in Gainesville: 17

As an IB student at Eastside High School, because of the heavy academic requirements that the program demands, time is a luxury for Alex. Yet she had spent many nights and weekends and summer time off working camps and practices at Gainesville Juniors, as well as working hard at her own practices at the Club and High School level. How she has found a way to balance all these sacrifices, is just amazing. She truly LOVES being a part of the younger players training and development. All of this while maintaining a GPA over 4.5 and working hard on her own personal training and sports development.

Alex would love to continue to play the sport of volleyball in college, coach at a club level and further her academic dreams of a career in the medical field as a phychiatrist. Even in her career choice she wishes to work with people to help them have a better experience in their life and to provide a positive influence in her community.

Currently, as a EHS High School Senior and Varsity Volleyball Team Captain, Alex has also requested to volunteer her time once again to Gainesville Juniors Volleyball Club. Alex wishes to work with her little sister\'s mini-league team once their season begins, including working with the team weekends at their recreational tournaments. In addition, Alex also is a member of many clubs at EHS, such as Leo Club, Student Government, and Prom Committee, just to name a few. She also volunteers her time at school orientations and functions around the community that the school supports.

As a 17 year old, Alex has already accomplised so much. Her desire to volunteer her time and expertise to the sports community continues to grow, as well as her hope to be a positive role model for those around her.
