I have known Adele Franson for 11 years through her neighborhood service. She is very dedicated to helping our homeless feline members of the community. Through her daily work with identifying and feeding homeless cats, she has improved their health and reduced the loss of bird life. Through cooperation with with the local spay/neuter program she has helped to drastically reduce the population explosion of homeless cats. She knows the history of these cats and is very dedicated to their well-being.

About Adele Franson
Adele is also very active in local issues and has regularly contributed her voice in political discourse.
I nominate Adele Franson for the Spirit of Gainesville Award in community service.

I believe Adele Franson has been nominated for the award for her care and feeding of feral cats, plus getting feral cats to the free spay and neuter programs to help decrease the number of animals that suffer the dangers of living without safe homes.
Adele is also a volunteer at the Helping Hands Clinic at First Methodist Church. She cares for and helps animals and humans in need and she does this with quiet reliable work without any need for or expectation of reward.
Adele Franson is just a good person who should be recognized for her acts of loving kindness.
Thank you for recognizing the good people of Gainesville.
