UF basketball schedule released

Florida's 2012-13 men's basketball schedule is now complete.

The Southeastern Conference released its 2013 men's basketball slate Friday. With the addition of Missouri and Texas A&M, teams have increased from playing 16 to 18 conference games.




Florida opens SEC play Jan. 9 at the O'Connell Center vs. Georgia (7 p.m. tip, CSS). The Gators close league play at noon March 9 at Rupp Arena against Kentucky.

The Gators host defending national champion Kentucky on Feb. 12. Florida hosts first-year SEC program Missouri on Jan. 19.

Under the new scheduling format, the Gators play two games against Missouri, Georgia, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Kentucky.

Senior night for UF seniors Kenny Boynton, Erik Murphy and Mike Rosario will be March 6 at the O'Dome vs. Vanderbilt.
