Alachua County staff will hold a public workshop on July 24 to review and seek public comment on the design plans for the proposed Archer Braid Trail.
The workshop, to be held at 6 p.m. at the Kanapaha Middle School cafeteria, 5005 SW 75th St., will include displays of the trail's design plans for public review. At 6:30, staff will do a presentation, followed by a public comment period.
Staff will present a summary of public comments to the County Commission at a future meeting. The plans and alternatives will then go back through the formal County Commission and Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization's processes in the coming months.
For those unable to attend the workshop, the plans will be posted on the Growth Management Website and comments can be emailed to Transportation Planning Manager Jeffrey Hays at email@example.com.
