When: Nov. 10

Where: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Why it’s No. 8: The two schools are playing for the first time as SEC foes, but they have traditional ties. Legendary coach Bear Bryant left Texas A&M for Alabama, while not-so-legendary coach Dennis Franchione left Alabama for Texas A&M. Alabama and Texas A&M both return enough talent to make this an interesting game.

Series History: Alabama leads 3-1.

Rivalry on scale of 1-100: 40. Coaching history aside, the two schools haven’t played often enough to build any kind of a heated rivalry. That could change over time.
