No. 18 BARKEVIOUS MINGO
LSU junior defensive end
Weight: 240 lbs.
Why he's No. 18: This strong, fast, athletic defensive end is one of the most disruptive defensive players in the SEC, and every quarterback's nightmare. Not only is he an excellent pass rusher, he's also strong against the run. He led the Tigers in tackles for loss last season with 13.5 and recorded eight sacks. He covers all kinds of ground and is difficult to block with his long arms and athleticism.
College career: Mingo was a second-team All-SEC selection as a sophomore last season. For his career, he has 76 total tackles, 19.0 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and 15 quarterback hurries.
Fun fact: Mingo's nickname is Ke Ke (Key Key). In 2009, he was voted name of the year by an online fan competition. Hugh Mingo III is the name of one of his brothers.
