Today will be a warm and humid lead-in to the weekend with the National Weather Service forecast a 50 percent chance of rain and a high temperature in the upper 80s.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Breezy, with a calm wind becoming south between 13 and 16 mph.
Friday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind between 10 and 13 mph becoming light.
SaturdaySaturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. West wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91.
Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 65.
Rain is most likely in the afternoon today, but the probability for precipitation will drop over the weekend. Highs in the low 90s on Saturday and Sunday will make a day at the lake or sea more inviting.
