Florida sophomore forward Will Yeguete is out for the season after breaking his foot Tuesday night against Auburn.

The 6-foot-7 Yeguete suffered the injury when he landed awkwardly on his foot going for his fifth rebound with 11:11 left in the second half. Florida coach Billy Donovan confirmed the injury shortly after UF's 63-47 win over Auburn.

Yeguete came into the Auburn game tied for the team lead in rebounds (6.3 rpg) and is UF's best post defender.

With Yeguete out, Donovan said other players are going to have to step up.

“We're going to have to look at Casey Prather playing the four (power forward), Brad (Beal) playing the four, Scottie (Wilbekin) playing the four,” Donovan said. “Cody Larson is going to have to step up and provide a little bit more. Casey is going to have to provide a little bit more.”
