Florida will be without forward Will Yeguete and guard Mike Rosario for Tuesday night’s game at Alabama.
Rosario is out with a hip pointer and Yeguete remains out with a concussion he suffered during Saturday’s 75-70 loss to Tennessee. Donovan said Yeguete also will likely miss UF’s game Saturday at Arkansas.
Redshirt freshman forward Cody Larson, who sat out the Tennessee game with the flu, will be available but is not at 100 percent.
Alabama coach Anthony Grant on Monday said starting center JaMychael Green and starting power forward Tony Mitchell will remain suspended for the UF game for violating team rules. Grant re-instated guard Trevor Releford and guard Andrew Steele after both served one-game suspensions last Saturday against LSU.
The Gators (19-6, 7-3 SEC) dropped six spots to No. 14 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll. The Gators lost back-to-back games for the first time this season, falling to Kentucky and Tennessee.
Florida dropped to No. 12 in this week’s ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.
