Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn has turned down an opportunity to join the Tampa Bay Bucs, The Sun has learned.

Quinn interviewed for the job of defensive coordinator, but decided to remain in Gainesville as Will Muschamp's defensive chief.

Florida's defense finished fifth in the SEC last season and returns all but one starter from last year's unit.
